Online IDS checker
Open the model, drop the IDS file, run the check. What fails turns red in the model, and the properties panel shows required and actual values side by side.
What the checker does

IDS 1.0 by buildingSMART
All six facets: entity, attribute, property, material, classification and part of. Errors in the IDS file are reported before the check runs.

Runs in the background
The check runs next to the model. Keep orbiting and clicking while it works.

Results in the model
Passed, failed, not applicable. One click colours the model by result and isolates the failures.

Required and actual
On the element, the failed requirement sits right next to the property. If the property is missing, a placeholder shows where it belongs.

Hand it on as BCF
One topic per failed specification, with a viewpoint and the affected elements.

Report and spreadsheet
A report to print or save as PDF, plus an XLSX sheet with one row per element and requirement.

Two rule sets to start with: minimum handover requirements and walls.
What it can't do yet
- You can't edit or create IDS files here. The viewer only checks.
- For RVT it checks against its own IFC mapping (beta), not against Revit's IFC export. Results can differ from that.
