Online RVT viewer
Open a Revit file without Revit
Look at a Revit project without installing Revit and without an Autodesk account. Your browser reads the file itself, no server is involved.
What it does with RVT
-
Revit projects in 3D
Drop the .rvt file and the model builds up piece by piece. You can orbit before it's finished.
-
Level, category, family, type
The tree follows the order you know from Revit.
-
Parameters
Instance and type parameters with units. Copy the ElementId or IfcGUID with one click.
-
Search, measure, section, colour
The same tools as for IFC. A wall from the RVT turns up in the IFC export under the same GUID.
-
IDS checking
Check rules from an IDS file against a Revit model too. The check runs against the viewer's IFC mapping (beta).
-
BCF topics
Topics from an IFC project hit the same elements in the RVT, and the other way round.
What it can't do yet
- RVT is in beta. Some categories can differ from Revit in their geometry.
- Plans, views and sheets from the file don't open yet, only the 3D model.
- Large projects take more time and memory than IFC. Big files get tight on a phone.
