What it does with IFC

IFC 2x3, 4 and 4.3
Files in STEP format (.ifc). Load more models on top and view them together.

Structure, classes, types, storeys
The tree shows the model the way you need it right now. One click hides, isolates or ghosts the rest.

Properties
Attributes, property sets, quantities, materials with layers and classification. Copy any value, GUID included.

Search the model
By name, type, class, GUID or property value. Narrow it down with class:wall or storey:"level 1".

Measure
Distance with snapping to vertex, edge and face. Edge length, face to face, area and angle as well.

Section
Align a plane to a face, put a box around the selection or cut a storey. Cut faces are filled.

Colour by
Class, type, storey or material, with a legend you can isolate from.

Screenshot and walk
Save the current view as an image. Walk through the building with W, A, S, D.
What it can't do yet
- It doesn't open ifcZIP or ifcXML. Unzip packed files and export XML as .ifc.
- There is no editing and no clash detection. The viewer shows and checks, it never changes the model.
- Very large models can run out of memory on phones and tablets. The viewer warns you first.
